Stake Youth Dance's

We are concerned about the safety of those attending dances. We have seen that some of the youth are leaving the building to go to the shops during dance's. This obviously poses a safety risk during times when areas are dark or poorly lit.

We invite all parents and youth leaders to discuss with their youth ways to ensure their safety is maintained. We are happy to improve the refreshments available at tuck shops to provide youth with the items they are looking for.

We urge our youth to set a good example by staying at the dance throughout the duration and where essential, sign out of the dance and accept personal responsibility for such safety.  This is an approach that Huddersfield Stake will also be following going forward.
